Thomas Pocklington Trust strives for equality of blind and partially sighted people in every aspect of society. We are a charitable organisation with a dedicated staff – over half of us are blind or partially sighted – and over 200 volunteers who have lived experience of sight loss. Our mission is to support blind and partially sighted people to bring about equity and inclusion in every aspect of society.
We want to understand the experiences of blind and partially sighted people so that our work reflects what matters most. We want to ensure that our campaigns and influencing work is driven by what you tell us, which is why this survey looks for specific responses to specific themed areas.
The survey will cover the following areas:

While we cannot act on everything or promise to solve every issue you raise, we will use the results of this survey to further inform our campaigning, services, and our engagement work with partners. We will produce a summary of the results and share these widely.
Your participation in this survey is entirely voluntary. After the third page, you can choose to skip any questions if you wish. Your responses to the survey will be anonymous.When completing this survey, please only provide answers that reflect your experience in the last year.
Depending on your answers, the survey will take 30 mins or more to complete. From the second page, you will be able to save your responses and resume the survey at a later time. You will be asked to provide your email address and a password. To maintain anonymity we are not collecting email addresses, so we are unable to reset passwords if you forget yours.
